Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Vangelis LATEST NEWS

Bloody finally! A entire year of delay. Very curious how it'll compare to the leaked version of last year. I do have that one, but haven't given it a listen yet (still). Very curious to finally hear it. I have the LE set ordered since October last year (when it was already delayed until December) an...

I'd be interested in hearing how that YT link sounded, if anyone can PM me, I'd be very thankful.

Re: Does JMJ look back on Oxygene 7-13 with some regret?

I can't personally agree with that statement, some of the sounds throughout 7-13 sound absolutely wonderful. Digital can sound fantastic, much like analogue can sound fantastic. It all depends on how it's utilised and mix, and 7-13 sounds wonderful to my ears despite the very different approach, sou...

Re: Welcome To The Other Side

Those old concerts won't benefit much anyway by a Blu-ray release unfortunately. Recording those on tape was the worst decision they could've made from a historical perspective, but I understand why they did however. Recording must've been a hell of a lot easier by doing it through tape and just cha...

Re: ENIGMA

If you like Enigma, I suggest listening to Delerium, especially their albums Semantic Spaces, Karma and Poem. It's much in the same spirit as Enigma, but with more sequencers. The later albums are also a bit bland with some sporadic great tracks. Never heard of them before, but I will absolutely ch...

Re: ENIGMA

Been getting into Enigma since shortly, the group really peaked unbelievably early with MCMXC A.d. What an absolute masterpiece of an album! Outside of that one, I really enjoy; The Cross of Change, The Mask Behind the Mirror and quite a few tracks of Le Roi ist Mort Vive le Roi. But the rest is jus...

Re: Revolution track the inspiration for first Trance track of the genre

Rubycon is bloody brilliant! One of the few (earlier) Tangerine Dream albums I have zero issues with listing whenever. That buildup is so well done, and that entire second half of the first track is just... Oof, so good!

Yeah, same here. Figure they just reused the template of the Amazonia email and forgot the title. Wouldn't be the first time they reused a wrong title.

Re: Monaco Royal Wedding Concert – 01/07/2011

No, I'm talking about the audio that was featured in the stream. It was the live feedback, but some idiot somewhere in the production line decided that they needed to include an audio track with nothing but fake clapping, whistling and more. Now this wouldn't be the worst thing if the loop was long ...

Re: Monaco Royal Wedding Concert – 01/07/2011

Watched it live online since I wasn't allowed to drive all the way (just had my license a few months at the time). It was quite a nice concert, but lord the things I'd do to get the audio without that dreadful looping fake audience clapping, whistling and more. Seriously, who's idea was that?!

Re: Welcome To The Other Side

Any problem with cassettes? I'm trying to complete JMJ's discography to record on cassettes. Ha, no problem at all, myself. I bought the Planet Jarre box with the two CDs and cassettes myself too. But compared to DVDs, but it's an outdated format. Same for me, but because I wanted the 5.1 mixes, I'...
