Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

A new server, a new environment. Updated and all.

As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Cover of Chronologie Part 2

Good job, pretty detailed. The chords could use some work - some wrong notes here and there, but good job overall (better than most Chrono 2 covers). Why mono though?

Re: The current state of the forum

Or you could add a signature to "Organa" with an explanation that is a post with an unknown author & something along the lines of if this is your post please send me a PM.. Good idea, although I'd still rename the user to "(unknown)" - it's more likely to set a "warning flag", people tend to ignore...

Re: The current state of the forum

I guess "Organa" is a fun name, but it might be confusing to people who are not aware what happened (esp. when they recognize their post as written by "Organa"). Perhaps it would be best to name that user "(unknown)" or sth like that.

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

(that being said, inspired by your work on zoolook revival, I revived my own website which was hacked in 2019 (because of old hackable WordPress and old PHP) - I pulled a static copy from web.archive.org and uploaded it to my server) Going back on subject, yeah, I suppose this might be a Mandela eff...

In fairness, reconstructing JMJ's music is my field of expertise, not yours ;)

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

Wait, then how come you don't have it?! :) Because Suns Have Gone.... :lol2: I will do a search on my archive when I'm back home. Can't find it on my NAS here. If I have it.... Well I hope you'll find it. Fingers crossed. GMAS apparently was on youtube once (my friend found a link on this very foru...

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

So would I. He's been approached him several times, a friend of mine offered him decent money for making a mere copy of the CD, no luck. He just says "it's not for sale" and ignores the requests for a copy.

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

It's a closed group, I can't read it :-( Nothing interesting. You-know-who showing off a photo of the CD-R and confirming that "Isobel" is a different version of "Bells". Not sharing these is pretty lame. These CDs are extremely limited and these tracks probably won't ever be released. What's the j...

Oh right, that guy that won't share it. *sigh*

Re: Metamorphoses - Test Pressing CD-Rs

From what I've learned is that Isobel is apparently a different version of Miss Moon (https://www.discogs.com/Jean-Michel-Jarre-Isobel/release/5091710). I believe that description is bogus. "Isobel" is "Bells" - you can hear it in the lyrics: "Bell... Bell isobel". I'm just not sure whether this wa...

Re: Ethnicolor/Chrono II/Stardust live 2018-09-06

It is a friend of mine who is a huge JMJ fan and not on Facebook or the forum & he really likes fan covers & I was impressed by the whole show, music and visuals & wanted to show him this. Glad you like it so much. As I mentioned I did another show exactly a year after that and Ethnicolor sounds in...

Re: The current state of the forum

I see the forum has a new look. I think you might have gone a bit too far with the "nostalgia" vibe, it looks like straight out of 2000 ;) Can we please have an option to switch to the previous one? (Unless this option already exists). Pretty please :) (BTW. graphic elements and my personal taste no...

Brilliant.
Thanks. Why if I may ask? Was it because of the light show or Ethnicolor?

Re: The current state of the forum

Yup, "like" works now. I don't like (sic!) how it redirects you to a "you liked that post" page - completely unnecessary UI. Also the page that displays when you click on "likes received" or "likes given" is not styled correctly - fonts are very large. Obviously not a top-priority issue.

Re: The current state of the forum

Ok, I may be blind or sth, but I don't see the "like" functionality. I got a notification that you liked my post and I see "Likes given" under your username, but I'm not sure how to give a "like" myself?
