Was it just me or did Brian's playing on The Time Machine sound more like Hank Marvin?

Certainly the best concert of his for seen for a long time.
Stardust was amazing, as was the Second-Rendez-Vous.
Still far too much techno for me though, and messing around with classic tracks to make them more update.

But still the best Jean-Paul Jarre concert for ages!

I listened to all the tracks on Youtube.

I don't care about binaural versions or any esoteric nonsense about how the mix sounds, I just want the music to be good.

This sounds like a bag of spanners in a washing machine.

I really like EI. To me it's his best solo album since Oxy 7-13.
But you can only groundbreak the once. Electronic music is everywhere now, and Jarre with his new albums are never going to have the impact of his 70's and 80's material.
Just enjoy having Jarre once again making good music at the age ...

I've just noticed that Jarre gives a special Thank You to Michael Geiss in the booklet.
Nice of JMJ considering that Geiss went on Jarre's facebook to totally slag off some of the Electronica tracks.

Hmm, just occurred to me that even if Infinity is quite catchy, this album doesn't really have a "signature track" like Equinoxe 4 or 5 (or even Oxygene 17, tbh). Still more solid and cohesive as an album than O3, IMO.

I would have be great to see PSB perform Brick England.
I'm sure if PSB hadn't an album out at the same time as E2, Brick England would have been a big single hit.

There's a small section of Movement 10 that starts around 2.10 into the track. It's been driving me crazy what that sounded like, then it dawned on me:

I'm finding the album very interesting, probably the most interesting since Zoolook.
There's a lot sounds from previous albums in there, not just Equinoxe. I can hear Magnetic Fields 1 in the last movement, there's some Revolutions in there, some WfC/Calypso, even some Zoolook type sampling, but it ...
