It's probably second favoruite JMJ album after the original Oxygene. Although I had loved the original from an early age, it wasn't until this album came out in 1997 that I realised I needed to investigate more and have more of Jean Michel's music in my life!
Since he says he's been writing/recording the album whilst touring, that does suggest to me that it will be analogue again, since he has also embraced this original technology for his live shows - going back to his roots, and realising this is not only what he does best, but what people expect of ...
Oxygene 7 is in my top 3 Jarre tracks! It is sublime, epic and atmospheric. JMJ through and through! How can you not like it?!
My only disappointment in the 2010 tour is that he didn't play Oxygene 7, 8 or 10 (I didn't expect all, but one would have been nice). But you can't have everything!
