Still wondering a bit if I should go... I'd prefer a seated concert instead of never knowing how close to the stage you'll be. Also, I'd go to see Jarre, so those first several hours would just be standing and waiting for the bigwig himself to arrive.
Hmmm... thinking hard about this now ...

So this will be a standing (not seated) concert as it is outdoors?

The last photo of the laser harp, I see what Jarre means about the 3D aspect of the machine. The beams do look fuller, more rounded in that 3D sense.

That makes sense... Have we got a point of comparaison (i.e. another photo) ?

It could be the exposure of that photo that makes the beams look ...

On second read-through, it says that the laser harp is improved and that the laser will have more immersion for 3d effects. So not necessarily a radically different laser harp design.

I hope we can keep this level of quality next week and maybe even improve it. Then when I will feel we "have" the show, I shall be able to introduce some new songs, but first we need every one in the crew to become in total control and confidence...

Indeed it does! I've had countless problems with video and audio out of sync, not getting stereo sound because the total video bandwidth wasn't huge enough, videos that were stereo suddenly went mono and other problems.

Audio is not YouTube's strongest side.

Some VERY cool use of the big screen, both for "external" and first-person shots of Jarre playing during the Variation:

Also, Jarre is really living up to his "mad scientist" or "mad genious" image. 8)

Ah, but the "circle of life" video is there! That more than compensates for a bit of (intentional?) portamento on the sequence loop and a couple of synths that could need to be tuned. ;)

Maybe they saw the commercial and thought it would be Teo&Tea style dance music... :?

I'd never ever leave during a Jarre concert either, unless the laser harp set the ceiling on fire and maybe not even then. :)
