Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Some JMJ's photos

The city skyline as a projection screen Jarre and Fisher had a close friendship since they had realized numerous opulent performances together, especially in the eighties. So the Frenchman can no longer get out of the narrative when he is given the floor as a guest of honour as part of the press to...

Re: Stéphane Gervais (aka PsychNerD)

Stéphane Gervais has just released the final installment of his Triptych series. Highly recommended listen (the entire series). For those unaware Stéphane worked with JMJ as production assistant between ≈2013 and 2018 and he's quite obviously the person responsible for JMJ's big style shift during ...

Re: Vangelis LATEST NEWS

I just purchased the 3vinyl Vangelis box set 1982 : Opera Sauvage, China, Chariots of Fire. Mainly because of Opera Sauvage and 20 minute exploration improvisation on Chariots of Fire. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=uucvvRY7n98 I wish JmJ would do 20min 40min exploration in his impressionistic style...

Yes, that appearance with PSB at Glastonbury was brilliant! Agree too, I much prefer their previous, richer sound, but this latest album still works for me.

The Killers

I have always liked The Killers, since their first album Hot Fuss. I loved the fusion of synths, British pop sensibilities and heartland Americana. A unique sound, really. And when I found out Brandon Flowers loved New Order and Pet Shop Boys - well, what's not to like?! Anyway, their new album was ...

Re: Does JMJ look back on Oxygene 7-13 with some regret?

Here is what Jarre told me about Oxygene 7-13 when I interviewed him in 2018: "– I prefer Oxygene 3 (2016). Oxygene 7-13 wasn’t analogue enough. And that was because we were in this very silly era. It was an era where we started to discover that digital just couldn’t match the warmth of analog...
