Certainly not, Oxygene 7-13 is a masterpiece IMO. Metamorphoses is also brilliant but I'm not sure how much of that is a solo work.

Could be something like extra feedback. Just wire in that second potentiometer and maybe a resistor to dampen it across the input and the output and you've got yourself a crude feedback control.

It's most probably just phonemes or meaningless words as above. JMJ was probaby just using the vocoder almost as a vowel filter.

Either it's midified or controlled by CV/Gate (hell of a job, with 20? different sounds). Another possibility is that it's sampled. You could simply solder in a clock input where the clock generator is connected to the sequencer within the drum machine. That would mean one clock input (from another...

Exept for sounds from the crowd of course.
The mics indeed would be used to pick up the crowd's applause and maybe the sound of the hall (albeit low in the final mixdown).

This seemed to be the case in Birmingham, but has anyone else noticed mics put up around the stage? Mics as in proper professional venue (I would presume condenser) recording mics, not vocal dynamic mics. There were at least four present at the Birmingham NIA gig.... Jarre talks of a tour DVD/CD in ...

OMFG!!!!!!!!!!! Out of the RAH Oxygene gig last year, Aero and Electronic Night, I'm very very tempted to say that's the best JMJ gig I've ever been to. Equinoxe 7! Equinoxe 5! Magnetic Fields 1! OLD STYLE! LIGHTS. HOLY S**T THE LIGHTS WERE AWESOME. Talking to my friend apparently most of it was la...

-the most minor promo ever. and this is not joke! :D well. JMJ is famous for his cool concerts; Aero Prod is famous for being the most lame management ever :D  I dunno... the UK dates have been regularly advertised in at least the paper we read (The Daily Mail). Not like a tiny little text-onl...
