Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Methinks JMJ and Radek met up in a dusty basement during the recording of the new album. JMJ needed a synth programmer as good as Radek due to his bad memory / patch books being burned. Therefore, Radek appears as "Synth Programmer" on the new JMJ album.

...Am I right?

AFAIK they're two totally seperate units. The fact that the Matrisequencer is analogue and the Digisequencer is digital means modifying the one to the other is pointless.
As you may have seen there's a little bit of info here.

Yes, obviously the Matrisequencer would've played a large part in this if it was improvised. Interesting about the overdubbing though. :o Anyone know the pattern length of the Matrisequencer? Looking at pictures I'm thinking about 64 steps?* Unless it's two channeled... mind those channels could sti...

Equinoxe 5-6-7

Hello everyone, I've wondered for quite a while about parts 5, 6 and 7 of Equinoxe and how they were composed/performed/recorded. Being in essence one long track, I think they may have been improvised. With the bass track sequenced as well as the drums, I wonder if Jarre put down the "backing&q...

I'd like to know how much of Jarre's material was actually scored/written down as notation at the time. Obviously there's synth patches/settings, but how much actual written music there is would be interesting.

Well, I'm going to attempt this task using the Elektron Monomachine. I've had this synth for just over a week now and I'm amazed at it's possibilities. I just found how flexible using the arpeggiator WITH the sequencer can be... and yes, it does very very Jarre-esque patterns. :D :D :D
