Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

Currently, we are experiencing some DNS problems. We hope to fix this as soon as possible.

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Unedited Waiting for Cousteau

I absolutely love this track. What a divine melody... but It's only 45 minutes :( So It occured to me -what if there's a longer one? So , can anyone shed some light on this and has anybody ever heard a version longer than 45-50 minutes? Well, i've "made" (just mixed) Waiting for Cousteau ...

I've noticed something else i've never really cared to share because it's most likely my imagination, but has anyone actually heard words or voices sampled in the track? Could be that I have a trained ear for detecting speeches , but I hear "Hello", "No solution, no solution" and...

Badly remastered videos on Youtube

So I keep noticing there's millijards of Jean Michel's fan recordings that have been leaked on to youtube. Some of it is incredible, some not so much. Unfortunately, there are folks who have taken it to extreme. I don't know who these guys are, but for example user "instants Jean Michel Jarrre&...

I'm going to ask something I asked 9 years ago.
However there is also an 1982 ATV (ITC) VHS, and a 1981 Japanese tv-broadcast (NHK Young Music Show).
Who's got these copies? I've never seen them being mentioned almost anywhere except this page https://drjones.home.xs4all.nl/discography.txt

Hey guys, Just decided to check up on this again and my old post with the link claiming there's some new parts of the track might after all be the only proof available. I later wrote that it must have been echo, but to be honest I can't say for sure. It seems somebody kept the recorder next to the s...

Editions with booklets

Hi, I've recently got an idea to purchase all of the CD albums that have thick booklets. So far I know there is one in Jarre Live, Concert Houston/Lyon (2014) edition, Zoolook (only 2015 edition?). So which of the other ones should I be looking out for? I check the descriptions on discogs but it's n...

Rendez-Vous in Space Okinawa

Personally, I think the concert had one of Jarre's best collaboration tracks and wish we'd hear it in the current tour, say, instead of "Snowden".. Why Rendez-Vous in Space hasn't been released officially? What an underrated project. The only recordings we have is a VHS and the sound is qu...

Definitely nice to see some visuals that would have been pretty nice to see on the concert video itself. :]
Oh sorry, I must've missed a few chatter spots. But try to ignore it :D

La Defense Camcorder + Radio Broadcast Video

Hi guys. I've finally redigitized the vhs that was kindly sent to me about 2 years ago by a forum member "darkwinter1979". This time I used a better VCR and didn't smudge the image all over the place unlike I did 2 years ago. Anyways, here it is. I've also synched it up with the radio broa...

If somebody's got the right synths and is more musically saavy, you could maybe use this midi file http://musicnoteslib.com/tabs/Jean_Michel_Jarre-Waiting_For_Cousteau-4294935677.html , copy the notes from the lead piano synth, then use some kind of algorithmic software to program the same notes so ...
