Place de la Concorde was a one-man show! But I agree, I like it better when he's supported on stage by a band. Or at least 2-3 others. Feels more real.
I'd never heard of him either but a quick search on You Tube and Band Camp and there's some really great music by him. I like a lot! Terrific video for his track Hometown too.
How can JMJ have "signed-off" on a final mix that was wrong in his eyes/ears? Where does the artist lose control of the production process? Was he bothered about this but there was nothing he could do? Or could he have stopped things but on balance (pun!) it wasn't worth the hassle factor?...
