Thank you Armandox! I'm glad that you enjoyed the video, together with the almost robotic music I tried to evoke a feeling of an unstoppable development of the city. I'm so curious though, why do you think it's one if the worst places in Holland? I'm very interested in an insider's opinion ! Let's ...

Nychthemeron - Part 2 (Dawn)

After recovering from a bicycle-accident I continued writing on my album Nychthemeron and am now putting the finishing touches on the 2nd track, Part 2 or Dawn. It's a very basic song with simple harmonies and chord-progressions to reflect the dawn in a 24-hour cycle. I'm happy to share this preview...

Thanks simesky, I'm glad you like this first track. I only hope that whenever someone feels the need for space he/she walks outside, looks at the stars, relaxes and feels at peace to this tune. Music is such a beautiful glue or catalyst for the universe with ones soul and vice versa. So here's the b...

Nychthemeron - Part 1 (The Awakening)

Hello dear Jarrians, Here's the final version of the 1st track (The Awakening) from my forthcoming concept-album Nychthemeron. Hope you enjoy it and can relax to the music. The album is still a work in progress as new ideas develop and new melodies spring to mind, while people and events around me i...

DJ Superchief - 2 ^ 7 (Armandox Rework)

Hi guys and gals, I wanted to share with you all a rework I did of a trance-tune by one of my good friends from Manchester, DJ Superchief. I heard his original and thought I could do something special with it. You can ofcoarse hear some of the obvious JMJ-tricks used as the SmallStone phaser :-) Fur...

Seriously? Hard pots and pans yet had to be invented? :pwned: Ofcoarse not... but he recorded for example first the kickdrum and snare, then overdubbed it later with the ride-cymbal slightly panned left (or record that on a seperate track), etc. Since the KR55 is mono and has no individual outputs ...

I'll give it a spin first thing in the morning. As for the drums (too lazy to check now) - are they really that panned? Never knew KR55's were stereo and seperate drum sounds could be panned individually. Oh - spankme... it's the live version :pwned: I didn't bother to rewrite the whole track with ...

Hola amigos! The drumpattern in RV2-Part3 is definately a TR-808. No way the Drumulator was used there, contrary to what you might read on the net, or people try to make you believe. The Drumulator doesn't even sound close! Here's an approximation of that particular beatloop made with TR-808 samples...

Jamie usually uses a left dry/right wet or vice-versa delay-path, so simply only listening to either the left or right channel should rid of most delays.
