Re: Equinoxe

Oh, user 1906 notified me that Michel Geiss posted a reaction under the Dr. Mix video! Michel Geiss 4 days ago I was deeply involved in the making of the album with Jean-Michel Jarre throughout the recording process. Technically, I had made the sequencer that you hear throughout the album (the Matri...

Re: Was there ever a video broadcast of the 2017 Dead Sea concert ?

Despite the spectacular footage that was shown over the years, there's sadly never been a broadcast as far as I know. I would love to be proven wrong.

I think that's what Geiss, Garraud and Gervais' functions in the studio were.

Is this part of his browsing through the music archives we've seen photos of?

I love his videos. He does great research on music and does fantastic reproductions. Plus, his presence is contagious. I really dig him talking about this album.

Re: Kraftwerk

Due to this post, I looked up if they are still touring and I found out they have 7 concerts this year, starting in May.

I guess we'll know what they're going to do, in May when they do the first concert. Hopefully there will be a press release or something, but they are usually stylistically silent

Re: Jean-Michel Jarre, innovation at the heart of creation

Yeah, agreed. I don't like that kind of thing. Enjoy the concert, people! Which reminds me: during one concert (I believe it was in Amsterdam, 2016), I played a video of a previous concert of that tour and held my phone up as if I was recording the concert. It must have confused some people behind m...

Re: New order

So, one of the best songs ever is now 40 years old.. Thanks for the link to this article, I love this read. I knew about the tracks that inspired the song and especially Klein & MBO's Dirty Talk is highly recommended. I see Pet Shop Boys have been mentioned here and a track which they say is ins...

François Kevorkian "in conversation" event

In conversation with the legendary DJ and producer François Kevorkian live in person at the British Library or online this Thursday 9th March. I won't be there, it's too far for me to go right now. He did some great work for JMJ in the form of the Zoolook and Zoolookologie 12" mixes. https://ww...
