A4 Autoroute Jingle

I've read from various sources that JMJ composed a jingle to promote the new extension to the A4 autoroute in eastern France. This was in 1974. Interestingly, that's the same year Kraftwerk released Autobahn :D

I have never heard this jingle. Does anyone have a link? Or even better, an MP3 file?

Re: Where to find Place de La Concerde Betamax ???

The line "... the first musical videogram" refers to what exactly? Surely other (bigger and more popular) music artists in the 1970s had released concert films and live perfomances onto VHS home video tapes, hadn't they? Or was this really the first ever time? Or is the word "videogra...

I wonder if those JMJ logo shirts will ever appear in the online shop?

I'd forgotten about Michel Geiss's "stage presence" at La Defense. He's is more Kraftwerk than Kraftwerk in this concert! Super cool! 8)

Re: Chronologie

We had a 40th anniversary re-issue of the Concerts In China double album and next month is the 30th anniversary of Chronologie. I still vividly remember going into my local record shop in Preston, Lancashire, UK on 24th May 1993 to buy a copy as soon as the shop opened. I would really, really like t...

I'm sure they'll arrive very, very soon ... just after EōN for Android and the English translation of Mélancholique Rodéo :D

Re: Paris La Defense: Japanese radio broadcast?

If I recall rightly, JMJ makes an interesting and quite political speech just before Souvenir of China is played, referring the the fall of the Berlin Wall in November 1989 - just 9 months before the concert, remember - and the fact a whole host of European countries are now longer subject to commun...

The footage of the auction itself is very interesting. I have never seen that before. Was JMJ actually there? I couldn't see him anywhere. Did I miss him?!

Re: Music For Supermarkets "2020 Remake"

We all know that the copies floating around are from the Radio Luxembourg broadcast - "pirate me!" - but did nobody think to record a copy by attending the exhibition with a tape recorder in their pocket? 😊 Had Amazonia not been released, I know I'd have attended one of the Sebastian Salga...
