Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Most of these transcriptions were done by Sylvain Durand in the late 80's and mid 90's. Many scores have indeed been simplified or at least transcribed in a 'sounds-like, or played approximately like' way so that the sunday afternoon livingroom-keyboarder as well as the pro synthe veteran can use th...

Very good one but try to play main lead using 2 combined PW waveforms Hey Radek. Using PWM was a brilliant idea! I couldn't put my finger on the the way those high harmonics were created... now I do. Here's what I did. I made a Combinator using both my Thor lead-patch and a Malstrom with PWM. Now t...

The Reason 4 Project - Magnetic Fields Part 2

For all you Reason fans I created another remake of a JMJ-track. This time Magnetic Fields Part 2 was the 'victim'. Using only standard Reason and some samples of the original instruments I tried to make a faithfull recreation of this song. So here's an MP3-version to listen right away, and a Reason...

Apologies for Israel Concert post...

In the topic about the possible Israel concert I put a reply with a link to some video's which I saw was one of the reasons for some heated discussion and eventually the closure of that topic. I want to express my apologies to TelAviv909... It was not at all my purpose to offend you or anyone else w...

Yeah, I totally agree aswell, but I just wanted to tell you that Jean Michel talked about such a concert, and that was the only concert he talked about in Marigny on 15th December :P Jean Michel still has to do the Amsterdam concert for the Aero world tour. He personally said in 2004 (when he was i...

Woahhh... this is some fast-paced posting... but you're more than welcome. The site is however translated by some stupid translator-bot or something, so some text might strike you a little ackward. The site mentions contact-spray once or twice, I do however not endorse the use of any contactspray wh...

Just updated my previous post
The site you are talking about is probably this one?

I'll post that pic of those springs tomorrow, as it's now dark here and my lighting is not sufficient (for the disabominable) phonecamera I have... It's likely I have one of the later models...

There are no tensioners to alter the Keyaction, this is an Organ were talking here which only really work on an On/Off Principle, they don't have velocity reponses,if the Keys feel heavy or grinding then there not aligned correctly(Either with the Whole subassembly alignment) or the Bushes under the ...

Started today with the 'revision' of my 310. Today it was the upper manuals turn. I had to fiddle with almost every keyspring in there, but now I got the manual noisefree. There's some keys (2 Bb-keys ackwardly) which need response-tuning and alignment (they grind the subsequent A). Also I need to w...

Congrats! I can't recognize the synth on the top of the Eminent... what is it? It's an E-pro Spirit, a Dutch made analog synthesizer. I believe I have one of the few still existing examples of this synth (never saw it anywhere). I remember buying it somewhere in to 80's for a nickel and a dime. Nee...

Jarre discovered this organ when working with dominique perrier in the early 70's on Christophe and Gerard Lenorman albums, in fact, he borrowed one of dominique's organs to use on oxygene... Talking about Dominiqie Perrier... who does still remember Perrier and Roger Rizzitelli as the duo Space Ar...

Eminent 310 Unique - In today!!

Yes yes yes!!! I am chuffed to bits with my latest addition, the one and only E310U. It needs a little work on the register and key contacts (the dust-devil has had it's time with it). But the wooden casing looks impecable and it came with the original glass sheetmusic-stand and all books, which is ...

No the one you posted is from the 80's. I think it's a track by M&H Band. This is so typical 80's  You can listen to the original Pop Corn form 1969 here . The track starts at 00:22 Popcorn is a track made famous by Hot Butter & The Popcornmakers in 1972 and composed and originally pe...
