Re: Creation Concerts - (more)OXYMORE - 14/01/2023

I don't know if he's going to tour or not, but he is going to be 75 years old this year. These Oxymore concerts/showcases are small enough to pull off. I do think JMJ is not one to just stop and retire like Mike Oldfield has. I guess that when he stops, he'll go out with a bang. Look at the line up ...

Re: The last film you saw in the cinema?

Absolutely! Poignant at times, some great adventuring, and solid action. Everybody in the movie plays fantastic, like you said: Ford is great, I think he's the most emotional I've seen him in a Jones film. Mads Mikkelsen is excellent as always, Phoebe Waller-Bridge is great. Yes, as an Indiana Jones...

Re: The last film you saw in the cinema?

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Great movie. Strange to see Spielberg not doing it, but Mangold does it very well. I want to rewatch it now.

Re: Europe in Concert - Behind the Scenes

There are some photos in the Europe in Concert book. But I agree, anything related to this concert is quite scarce.

RAM - Oxygene - Tribute to Jean Michel Jarre (street art)

Street artist RAM from The Hague made a tribute to JMJ's Oxygene: tribute-to-oxygene.jpg I don't really see it myself, but cool nontheless. It's currently for sale on an auction site: https://www.catawiki.com/nl/l/71769599-ram-oxygene-tribute-to-jean-michel-jarre-xxl-size Its estimated value is 5000...

Re: The next opus

Whatever he chooses to put out next (a new album or a sequel album) I just hope it’s a little more melodic. For me Oxymore was a giant miss and I just cannot stand listening to it (but others seem to love it). He can continue with this modern EDM style he has appropriated however I just want someth...

Re: The next opus

Agreed. That was strange time. A huge amount of live concerts and hardly any new music.

(2015-2017 was amazing in terms of JMJ albums though: E1, E2, O3 and Radiophonie 9)

Re: Jean Michel Jarre - Official Instagram

I also like Michel Geiss' reaction to the video, in the comments: I was deeply involved in the making of the album with Jean-Michel Jarre throughout the recording process. Technically, I had made the sequencer that you hear throughout the album (the Matrisequencer 250), as well as a drum machine (th...
