Welcome to the new BlahBlahCafe!

Currently, we are experiencing some DNS problems. We hope to fix this as soon as possible.

We have migrated to a new server. As with every migration, some things might have been lost in translation (at least, that's my experience in software development). The main problem is logging in into the boards. These could be caused by several reasons:

- Your browser cache & cookies need to be cleared because we moved to a new server. If you get the error message whilst logging: "The submitted form was invalid. Try submitting again.", you need to clear your cache & cookies. You can find a "Delete cookies" option at the bottom of this page.

- There is also a chance that your password is not correctly converted to the new system. This is a known bug with migrating the system. The only solution is to request a new password, there's a link on the form that will send an email to you to create a new password. If that fails, I can set a password for you, you can contact us at the "Contact us" link at the bottom of the page.

Re: Michel Geiss Synthspotting Q&A

Fantastic info - thank you

I would have a thousand questions for Michel Geiss, though mostly related to Jarre's music

I often wonder if his collaborators get annoyed when constantly asked about Jarre related matters?

Magnetic Fields - Docklands

Jean Michel Jarre and the D50! Jarre's Destination Docklands Concert in London in 1988 used a huge amount of D50/D550's on stage ( though in the end I think almost everything was playback ) Does anyone know where I could find the patch used as the main theme in Magnetic Fields part 2? I'm pretty sur...

DVD Perhaps?

With all the performing Jarre has been doing of late, surely we could expect an official DVD at some point?

Yep, I was struggling with it too. Still, any new stuf about Docklands is worth a look.

I agree it's the DS 250. Listening to all examples of this synth I'm convinced. You can hear it in the chorus parts of Rendezvous 4 also.

Re: Mixte Magazine - 11/09/2018

A Waldorf Q synth! I have one myself and wondered if he'd ever use it. He had the mighty Waldorf Wave but sold it some years ago.

I wish he'd return to crediting the instruments he uses on albums - I found that fascinating.

I have to say as a very infrequent visitor to this site, the wealth of research that has resulted in such an extensively rich catalogue of fascinating photos of Jean Michel Jarre is highly commendable. Well done Kanta and Thank You.

Almost complete COTM magazines - all issues excluding issues 2 &3 in 2 binders - one small, one large. All in excellent condition.

Anyone interested?

Anyone know the value if sold in one lot?

Thanks
