Re: Remake of Shipyard Opening - Solidarnosc 2005

Nice one !! How did you create the pad/drone sound at the beginning ? It sounds exactly the same !

What about drums ? Samples or a specific drum machine ?

Re: Chronologie 6 cover

Thank you your comments, I am using the Arturia MiniV (very basic sound) with the Arturia Flanger FL20 for the bass. The choir is from my Korg Triton but... you can use different sound I just use a Korg sound to be in the spirit of the 01W.

Re: Synths Used in Arpegiator

I think that in many cases, what Jarre did was not "weird" but it was just logic regarding the tools and synth he had at this period. All Jarre compositions are not complicated when they are done the right way, so, I think there is no "aux channel with EQ" or thing like that... m...

Re: Synths Used in Arpegiator

Here is an attempt on the Moog Modular V to recreate the bass of this track, no effect, direct from the VST plugin :

Re: Chronologie 6 cover

Thank you for your comment !! The bass is not complicated but... it's the "soul" of the track so it has to be fine tuned until the result sounds good ! It took me days !

Re: Synths Used in Arpegiator

Maybe you can try to use a Smallstone phaser effect to get this kind of hi-hats. Maybe you can also try to replicate this sound even with a basic "noise" and phasing effect too. You also have KR55 drum sounds on the track.

Re: Bells synth

I found 2 samples on the Cuckooland Unhinged CD : Double Doors and Thump Creak. They are part of the intro of the track.

If you have names of other samples for this track do not hesitate ! I think there are many sounds in backgrounds, especially in the intro.

Re: Chronologie 1 - Cover

Too bad :( I am also looking for drum loops for Chrono5 and Chrono8 sure it's sample loops. I'm not entirely sure where I got these from on 16 Sept 2010 (probably from these forums), but someone uploaded these at some point https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/762514204371582987/83115725633775210...

Jote wrote: Tue Apr 06, 2021 9:45 pm Great job. FYI - the "whoosh" at 00:25 was originally sourced by Jarre from some sample CD, I think I do have it somewhere.
Do you know what sample CD libraries did Jarre used for Chronologie album ?

Re: Third Rendez Vous cover

Very nice cover ! Do you still have the seiko keyboard ? Could be great to get multisamples for this track !

Or maybe tell us how you have created the pads for this track :)

Re: Rendez-vous I opening

I think it was done with Synthex. I made this clip with Xerxes synth, which is basically the same as Synthex. https://soundcloud.com/user-635888456/rendez-vous-1-snore/s-yGhJz9XQHyB Now, can anyone tell what synth/patch was used for the descending intervals starting at about 0:11 seconds into RV1 t...
