The French musician Jean-Michel Jarre, (photo) regarded as a pioneer of electronic, synthpop and New Age music, will give a concert in Bucharest on November 10, at the Polivalenta Hall, around 8:00 PM, as part of his “Oxygene†tour, according to the event organisers, the Phoenix Foundation.
According to Paul Nanca, representative of the organisers, negotiations with the artist’s management started as soon as the tour began, this spring, but the artist decided that the first part of the tour will only include Central European countries.
The ticket price is to be announced at a later date. The “Oxygene†tour celebrates 30 years since the release of the album of the same name, and marks the release of a re-mastered version with an approx. two-hour concert.
