After analysing Electronic music from 1947 upto 2020 : list of Electronic musicians here
https://zoolook.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=7295

Oxygene opened up the Public at large Worldwide to embrace Electronic music :
selling Millions played in Africa, South America, China, Middle East, India.

Electronic music scene 1947-1976 :
Before Oxygene, Electronic music was niche, in the know, academic, research groups, peer groups, performance groups,
a few radio tv broadcasts, appearance on expo fairs, couple minor hit songs, some public concerts, one trailblazing most influential theme

After Oxygene, every Electronic album up to now owes its Public embrace owes its success
to Oxygene breaking down Public barriers Worldwide, opening up public minds Worldwide.

Oxygene4 top10hit single Public embrace opened the door wide open for subsequent Electronic top10 hit singles including SynthPop top10 hit singles, num1 hits, club hits.
It is not a stretch to say every Electronic hit single SynthPop hit single thereafter upto now owes its success to Oxygene4 top10 hit opening up Public at large awareness, minds.

For these reasons Oxygene can be considered the most important Electronic album in history of Electronic music.

With Delia Derbyshire Dr Who theme 1963 the most influential track in Electronic music history that thousands Electronic musicians heard.

*******

We can add, any Electronic track thereafter until now with synthdrums, sequence, bass, pads, theme, fx owes itself to Oxygene2 and Oxygene4.

*******

Oxygene success gave Film makers courage to request fully Electronic melodic scores as Chariots of Fire 1981.

Oxygene success gave other Electronic musicians courage to score for movies as they realised Public would accept even embrace their melodic Electronica.

*******

Oxygene included the quintessential Blueprint 3minute Electronic hit single Structure
that was copied copiously.
Jarre clearly intentionally defined that : intro verse bridge chorus could be brought into 3minute Electronica.

Seems obvious now since this structure existed in R&B Pop, yet No Electronic musician done this Blueprint Structure before.
No Electronic musician prior could imagine such a thing in an Electronica track, if they had they would have performed it or put it on record.
(Delia Derbyshire 1963 Dr Who theme Electronic rendition had elements of this structure).

Someone had to show this Structure to the other 1970s Electronic music pioneers : a light bulb moment.

Jarre made it obvious : 4 separate sounds one for intro, verse, bridge, chorus such that the other 1970's Pioneers could grasp it.

Thus this Blueprint Electronic hit single 3minute Structure influenced :
*Giorgio Moroder's Synth Disco pioneering album Here to Eternity 1977
(we can hear the difference from Moroder's 1975 album Einzelganger
notable for its humurous vocal treatments sounding as sheep);
*Kraftwerk's num1 hit single The Model 1978 structure
(we can hear the difference from other previous Kraftwerk song structures),
*Vangelis' Chariots of Fire theme 1981 num1 hit single structure
(we can hear the difference from other previous Vangelis song structures);
*Tangerine Dream movie scores 70s 80s starting with Sorcerer 1977
where Tangerine Dream transitioned into much shorter 3minute tracks from their long 20minute tracks.

Knock on effect from these continues in Electronic music upto now.

This Blueprint Electronic hit single 3minute Structure intro verse bridge chorus is Oxygene4.
