For my T&T remix (and even for my account being frozen), it doesn't really matter
(On that note, I can't remember what happened to the contest back in 2007 and who won it - I know I didn't submit my remix at least partially because even at the time I knew that "eh, I just rearranged the given samples + added a new lead near the end").
I'm more pissed off about "Simon Jensen" ripping off mcvadsr's Oxygene 4 trance remix, which currently has only 199 plays on SoundCloud. Not to mention that "Jensen"'s (or Gateway Music/Orchard more likely) still making at least some money off of that (122k listens on Spotify definitely isn't in the big leagues, but it's still something - especially compared to the original remix), even if the full rip-off album itself has been removed for now.
But I guess SoundCloud took my "are you going to do something about Simon Jensen ripping off mcvadsr" notification as a copyright claim, since my account got frozen only after that (or maybe they're just frowning upon anyone but the acutal copyright owner making the claims). I guess I'll send an e-mail to Aero Prod about that one just in case.
