Thinking about it, when (pre-)orders open up, I might as well get it. I have a 4k drive that can rip the disc to the hard drive and add custom subs.
Very curious, never seen it before, so why not?
OK, I suppose my BD drive supports multilayered ones. Yes, they all work very similarly, but they're not forward compatible. What makes 4k blu-ray different is that the layers can be 33GB a pop. Regular blu-ray drives have no idea how to handle those, since regular blu-ray drives expect 25GB a layer max.
