(I haven't found out if there allready are some topic about this.)
The concert for 100th Anniversary of The Eiffel Tower with an audience of about 15.000.
I just wonder if there was any recording of this event at the time?
Somebody know some information about "Destination Trocadero" (in english)?

It was part of a 2 hour long TV show celebrating the 100th anivesary of the eiffel tower, JMJ wasn't the only artist performing there (allthough he was the closing act)

other artist performing there were PPL like the jacksons, Paula abdul, Sandra (from germany) Mireille mathieu etc...

I'm not sure where the name "destination Trocadero" comes from though, the name of the program was "Salut Eiffel" so...

In one of the rareties albums (Not an official release ofcourse) this track was included, very good quality and no noises from fireworks or audience. I don't really know how the authors of rareties album got it from.

You are absolutely sure it was exactly the same? Was it listed as Trocadero version, or was it listed as 12" remix (it's kinda similar to that too so...)

Maybe you can upload that version somewhere for us so we can judge it ourselfs?

I think it was just called edited version or alternativ version and yes it has the same added stuff except two things. The bass from the live performance wasn't there and some one note string from the chorus.
