I downloaded the file, it's an mp4a-latm file. I'm trying to figure out if I can play this format somewhere offline. [edit] VLC seems to play this format very well.

I have downloaded it as M4A
Try this link https://rf-hyperradio.s3.amazonaws.com/ ... 92kbps.m4a

It plays fine in Music Bee and VLC

Cool, seems they actually played around with mixing in 5.1 which means some of the elements are now separated - for instance I can now hear how the bassline in Stardust is constructed.

Man, I can't believe how complex the arrangement of Time Machine is which I'm now rediscovering thanks to this 5.1 mix. I mean I knew it was complex, but not THIS complex. Dare I say it's TOO complex, as you can't hear this complexity in the stereo mix - many of the sounds are just drowned by the stronger ones and I think to myself - "was it worth the effort?". With 5 channels at least those instruments now have finally room to breathe.

Btw. this 5.1 mix is actually a 5.0 mix - the bass channel is empty.

The 5.1 mix was done by Radio France, just like the binaural mix. I have not heard anything about a physical release though, but I might have missed that on the live chat.

PS: if you want your old account back, contact me, I can reset your password.

I think he mentioned that 5.1/Binaural version of WTTOS will be available as downloads much like Amazonia (so no binaural vinyl), hinting that WTTOS might get a release. Then near the end he said something about a "special project" related to WTTOS coming around June.

(P.S. why is BBCode OFF?)

Hi Dr_Jones. Thanks for that. I use Equ1n0xe for xbox gamertag. Happy to leave it as is. I was trying to listen to it at work so may have misheard it.
