Man, and only now do I find out that there's been a Roland D50 VST out for months! Thanks to AERO62 for the tip-off.

So here's yet another one of my questions.

Anyone able to open thhedk's Roland D-50 preset .SYX file (from this link: http://www.thhe.dk/Roland_D-50.htm ), and post the actual preset values so I can manually recreate those presets in Roland Cloud D-50 and see (and hear) how they sound?

Would be super appreciated! ;)

[EDIT/JULY 3RD] No longer necessary thanks to AERO62 and this thread! https://www.kvraudio.com/forum/viewtopi ... &start=435

Thanks once again! 8)

I think there is no support for SYX files. I've tried and it only recognizes some weird Bin format. But maybe there is a way to convert it somehow. I'm not sure.

It's not 100% the D50/550 sound, but it's 99% of the way there. Further processing/eq'ing has shown that it can be made to be like the hardware.

There is also a website where you can convert your own sysex files to the bin format of the plugin: http://www.difficultaudio.com/
Without faith nothing is possible. With it, nothing is impossible.
