Kraftwerk exists in thousands of years. The robots will take over, it's always been the plan. :punch: :p:

Well, Kraftwerk will play in Brazil again (the first time was on 1998, and back on 2004) .
Kraft will open the RADIOHEAD shows in South America

Oh damn. I should have been more of a Kraftwerk fan back in early 2004 so I'd have bought tickets to their concert but noo. Oh well. :|

Currently listening to "The Mix"; the version of Autobahn sounds quite Christmassy lol, check 2:30 and you'll see what I mean.

Ah well, we probably won't hear any new material from them, anyway.

Seems like we won't hear any new material from Karl Bartos, either. Taken from his forum:

alexbrega: "5 Years since last album Communication,do you feel it's time for a new project ?"

Karl Bartos: "Time is moving fast, isn't it? Well, people don't buy records anymore and I can't afford to work for nothing. That's all.

Right now we're working on a new updated live show. People still go to concerts and that's fantstic!

Anyway, it's hard to understand that consumers are willing to pay € 5,- for cigarettes or € 10,- for a bottle of wine. A record with the equivalent of one or two years of work for € 10,- is considered too expensive... that's the way it is.

So, we perform – that's fine! "

I respect Kraftwerk and Karl Bartos for what they have done, but this sounds more like heavy whining to me :?

Bugger :\

Now I really feel annoyed that I wasn't enough of a Kraftwerk fan to attend the Helsinki gig 5 years ago :P

I dunno in what world he's been living - but now mine. I'll gladly pay €20 for a new Bartos album :robertdugenou:

And wouldn't even pay a hundred if I were addicted to cigarettes :smoke:

25 April 2009, 23:45, Wolfsburg, Germany
26 April 2009, 20:00, Wolfsburg, Germany

Dang that's really sad, both about Schneider and Bartos - I loved Communication! I went to one of his gigs at the Birmingham Academy... at most the audience was 100 big...
