From Wikipedia -

Each Ultradisc was made in Japan, until the release of Queen's A Night at the Opera in October 1992. At this point, discs were made exclusively in the US and given the Ultradisc II designation. Many of the early Ultradisc titles were re-pressed in the US, and given the Ultradisc II designation.

Current MFSL releases include SACDs and LPs, as well as the traditional Ultradisc II gold discs. The original company folded in November, 1999 when their main distributor went bankrupt, taking a large chunk of deliverable money with them. In 2002, the label was resurrected by Music Direct and has been producing well received Super Audio CDs, GAIN 2 Ultra Analog Limited Edition vinyl, Ultradisc II Gold CDs and Ultradisc CD-Rs since then.

wow, good to know that they have SACDs at more reasonable prices than www.acousticsounds.com has......

thanks for the info :)

So, from slightly being offtopic, the eBay action mentioned in the beginning seems to stink somehow. As soon as I see some "russian" seller / online shop, confidence is gone

Well...ehm............... that was just by mistake. I just posted it under the proper topic.
But perhaps, some of the items on the list are fake :-) You never know...

Russian sellers keep creating new ebay accounts and try to sell bootleg CDs:

"A group of men and woman entered the laboratory one month ago to live in a smell free world. Body odour, sweaty arms pits and smelly feet are to create the energy to survive. A total mystery surrounds this experiment, and it's project code name: B.O and Smell'i "
