There was a mention, that 2009 tour was just a test drive, the real tour begun in 2010, but I can't remember that where it was, maybe in his blog?

True, 2009 was a test run, though it is incorrect to name 2010 as the departure of, lets say, world tour, since numerous press material writes "it has started...then and then..." , furthermore the official press release...

People knew already many years ago..they destroy the earth..but they did think it will take a looooooong time ...and know everybody know the time is shorter....and here we are!!

Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.

Test run?, what's all this talk of a "test run" from an artist?. Isn't a test run the whole point to the rehersals?. Putting it over that last years concerts were a series of test runs, that does not come over to good for the fans who were paying to see these "tests runs". They were funding these experiments.
Jarre concerts attended - Destination Docklands 1988 - Paris La Defense 1990 - Europe In Concert 1993 (Manchester & London) - Oxygene Tour 1997 (Birmingham)

The only way I can imagine this tour as a tribute to Arthur C. Clarke is maybe that the tunes Jarre is playing right now were Arthur's favorites... (since he died in 2008)
