hello,

I'd like to know what synth (maybe a sampler) jarre used for beatiful synth guitar sound in his track, like example:

Calypso 3
Chronologie 4

Vangelis used the same sound on "the city" album, track "Nerve Centre"

hi, thank's for response.

i've looking a video on youtube to "find the sound", i've found this video :



at 3.25min we can listen a guitar sound but i think that is most "Jan HAmmer" guitar sound

instead i found in this video a sound that is most similar, is akorg t2 - 4.20min :

As far as i remember Korg wavestation got a similar sound too.

An the emulation of this synth have a very nice nice preset wich can kill mother's after some customization :peacemaan:

what about jp8000? it was not produced in those albums era :)

can you give more information about use of Korg M1 and Korg 01/W sound ?
KORG M1 : ? ? ?
KORG 01 : Chronologie 5 (Animotion and Death stars), Chronologie 6 Bell Rise & CHOIR

I came across a clip with a Korg 01/W demo with a similar "screaming guitar" sound.
Not sure if this is the real thing or some after produced sampling stuff? :P
