Jean-Michel Jarre​: His new album in 2015!
Known especially for his mega concerts, Jarre release a new album in 2015. In the introduction, the famous French musician has already released two songs recorded duet Glory (with M83) and Conquistador (with Gesaffelstein).
Celebrated as a pioneering one of the major trends in the music industry today, electronic music composer Jean Michel Jarre elevated the style to the heights of popularity never reached in the 1970s and 1980s, 60 million albums sold worldwide to date. Emerging at the same time as an international star, he created a new kind of outdoor events, concerts which remains absolutely unique.
In 1976, Jean Michel Jarre made a spectacular breakthrough in the music business with his Oxygene album that gets the Prix de l’Académie Charles Cros Award in France and climbs to the top of the charts worldwide. This international success is unmatched today in the French record history, with nearly 12 million albums sold.
After Geometry of Love (2003), Téo & Téa (2007) and the re-release of Oxygene - precursor album, which sold 12 million copies - in high definition (2007), the pioneer of electronic music announces the release of a new album in 2015. His first titled Glory extract is a collaboration with artist M83, used as soundtrack of the short film EMIC.
Another was announced simultaneously Conquistador recorded this time with the French artist Gesaffelstein. "I wanted to work with him. His music is very dark, mystical," says Jean-Michel Jarre. For its part, the Lyon musician does not hide his pride: "When I started music, I went to the side of the pioneers of electro interested to work for synthesizers and technology of the time. His music is in the collective unconscious. It is a classic of electronic music."
