This sounded a lot better then I had hoped. Like I said Carpenter for me is a hit or miss, but this is one of those clear hits!

Sounds pretty good! I quite like the work John Carpenter has done in the past and this one oozes his signature atmosphere/style.

I'm looking forward to the next collaboration announcement, all this news is exciting after the "dark years" haha

Wow! That really emits a lot of classic 1980s vibes!

( Yet the track name instantly makes me think of Depeche Mode's "A Question of Lust" except with lust replaced with blood ;) )

I absolutely love John Carpenter so I'm actually just disappointed that they're not doing a whole album together :peacemaan:

Actually, we do. It's explained in the video.

Creating music is quite a complex thing. In the video John speaks about a melody. But a melody is not all that goes into constructing a piece of music.

Many people are involved in constructing a piece of music. The idea of every composition, I feel is from Jean Michel in all of the calibrations that he has created for the new album.

Ok, so Jarre *pretty much* revealed the ACTUAL title of the album in the latest teaser on his facebook profile (I'm not giving spoilers - have fun figuring it out yourselves!)

The actual reveal will be on Aug 28th it seems.

I always thought he would choose 'Partners In Crime'...

I am quite happy with the upcoming new album. The tracks released so far are quite good.
Not a big fan of the Stardust one, but I seem to stand alone here. It sounds dated to me.
I love the trackstories on Youtube!
Would be nice if these would be added as DVD.

Can't wait for the work he has done with Air.

It is Meant to sound "dated"
Each track represents an era : therefore sounds as if from that era

Stardust 1995-2005.
John Carpenter track A Question of Blood represents 1976-1981.

how do we know it's ''meant'' to sound dated?

Stardust is nice enough...could've been better I think...but its remixes should beef it up even more..

the thing with these track stories we don't get to hear the song in full...so I will hold my comments til I hear the full song :smoke:
