Agreed! The music is really cool, and I do like the voice but an instrumental would be cool! This song totally caught me off guard though :D

"Swipe to the Right" is one of the most poppy songs he ever did, but it's more cool than the regular stuff on the radio top 10. Sadly enough this song will not hit the charts I think. They prefer a Beyoncé or another shick that gasp in the microphone.

Greetings,

Christophe

Did somebody check the DR values?
If you download the stems for HOT and export them yourself would it be better?
I've posted the DR results a few pages ago. Average DR of 4
The picture says it all:

This is not a pop song, because it has the long solo in the end. Same with "Christophe" track...

I see the 'Continuous Mix' is just the album without the track markers - no extra musical transitions as in Volume 1.
Another screw up i.e. the wrong masters supplied to iTunes - this time by Sony ? Did anyone download off Qobuz, and get something different ?
Concerts attended:
Destination Docklands 1988

Downloaded the HighDef audio tracks from Qobuz, and indeed the 'Continuous Mix' is nothing like the one from Electronica1. Guess something went wrong earlier on with this track.

Jarre said in the album booklet that she is part of New Wave period. So the song should be New Wave/Synthpop. For example, you can compare structure of the song with Ultravox' "The Voice", which is definitely New Wave/Synthpop song.

Brick England is typical pop song.

I received a response from MyPlayDirect last evening and informed that a new link will be sent once the download glitch is resolved.

I have no idea when this will be, though.

Me either. I like about half the tracks, whilst with E1 I like all but 2 or 3.
There is one exceptional album (18-20 tracks) from this project.
I'm sure if JMJ was honest he would say some of the tracks didn't turn out the way he wanted, but it was always going to be a big ask. You can't knock the Mans ambition.
