The question for me is - why? Why does JMJ decide to do it this way? Why is this enough? Are there people around who say it has to be this way, it would be the right choice?
There were plenty crew and tech support team in Studio Gabriel. They could have properly cheered and clapped as things got going, and they could have all cheered at midnight too. These cheers could have been recorded (maybe looped, boosted, and been amplified) and then added to the release. At least they would be genuine and bespoke.

As somebody said elsewhere on the forum, why the rush to make the streaming and the download ready for 1st January? Couldn't they have waited a few days? And released a really cool recording with proper audience noises?

Maybe but Stardust was originally listed as a collaboration on Electronica Vol. 1 as were all tracks at that time. Now, it's listed as a JMJ solo track. Doesn't seem right, especially when the track story for Stardust on YouTube reveals just how collaborative it was. Armin van Buuren was clearly thrilled to be asked by JMJ to collaborate so I imagine he would be a bit miffed to no longer be listed as the co-creator. This, after all, was the track that heralded midnight across France as being the effective new national celebration under a lockdown.

JmJ championed musicians getting paid as president of CISAC.

This has all the hallmarks of large corporation sony not wanting to pay the little guy.

The mp3 file for the The Architect makes no mention of Jeff Mills. Not on, really.

Also, having listened to the WTTOS album a lot since it's release, I realise now just how good The Architect, Zero Gravity (Above & Beyond remix), Stardust and Herbalizer are as live tracks for a 'party type' mix tape as this. I still miss the delicate, old skool JMJ but if he needs to move towards an EDM position for events like WTTOS (and I get why he does) then these four tracks in particular are bang on. Really good.

Herbalizer is properly catchy but has possibly the worst ever title of any JMJ track ever. I thought Globetrotter and Moon Machine were bad, but Herbalizer? Really? Stick to Pt 1, Pt 2, Pt 3 Pt 4 etc....

The Konsinki Oxy 2 remix is also terrific. It's dark synth wave edge really aligns well with the gothic Notre-Dame setting and the 2020 pandemic vibe! :D

Does anybody know what font was used for the album cover art?
It wasn't Arckitect Light as on Alone together...

Also, does anyone have more artworks from the posters promoting it?

I'm not a font-expert, and I usually use WhatTheFont (https://www.myfonts.com/WhatTheFont/). The site tells me:

For "Concert From Virtual Notre-Dame": the News Gothic family

The "Welcome To The Other Side" test: Arian Regular or Parsi Light.

Thank you for the information, both are premium, but I'll try Arian LT.
I used the Arkitech Light for Alone Together custom cassette cover and now I'd like to do the same for WttOS.

Yeah, I have that too. I opened them in Audacity and here you have the seam between track 1 and 2:

There's a gap of 0.0030 seconds of silence:

I contacted Qobuz about it, I hope to get a reply from them.

Do other people who bought the tracks somewhere else have the same problem?

I contact Qobuz and finally who respond: "We are not having the problem on our end. Can you try to re-download the album please?"
So I will be satisfied with this version. I also noticed the silences with Audacity. Weird that this info doesn't go back anymore

I'm getting a flac from Deezer from a friend. Apparently, they don't have the gaps. I will do a comparison of the first track of both Qobuz and Deezer. I will keep you updated!

The Flac 44.1/16 on Qobuz have the same gaps.
On Tidal streaming no gaps

Oh FFS. You know what tends to have such silence? MP3 files. Don't f**king tell me they repackaged MP3s as WAVs. I honestly would not be surprised. Their 24-bit resolution is fake for most releases anyway, but this would be truly some next-level BS.
