nexxxus wrote: Sat Sep 11, 2021 11:52 pm In any case, you've probably noticed, the new binaural version is much better than the first.

Also like many I find it unfortunate that there are no subtitles, of all languages, the main ones. It would be respectful for all the fans around the world.

I appreciate the Blu-ray edition for the presence of the two booklets.
I think it's one of the classic Sony Music f***-ups, this is after all the company that brought us CDs with the URL jrsnmivhrljsttr.com printed on it. The back of the CD box states that it should have subtitles.

Interview - JEAN-MICHEL JARRE… welcomes you to the other side

What's next for Jean-Michel Jarre? Which projects are you already planning - and are you working on a tour in 2022?

In this regard, I just have a lot of question marks on my forehead. Everything is uncertain. Concerts, shows and gigs are impossible for me in 2021. However, I hope to be able to be on stage again next year. And I prepare for that by continuing to work on new music, new projects and new productions.

Isn't the Binaural version included on the blu-ray? Haven't gotten around to purchasing it just yet.

It's more convenient for me to listen to the binaural version on Spotify and not worry about the godawful fake audience noises ;)

(Will probably get the BluRay thing at some point when it's cheaper and rip the "non-audience noise" audio off that one)

Just a reminder that there is a download code included with the BluRay for the Binaural version (in 24 bit 48 kHz WAV) that doesn't have the fake crowd noise.
I guess the digital only release will be the same binaural version as the one included for download with the physical releases.

I'd like a regular stereo that doesn't have the fake crowd noise. Couldn't care less about that fake binaural gimmick BS.

Hmm, a regular stereo mix without crows noise could be on the bluray. I mean, the bluray doesn't have crowd noise and there's a stereo mix on it...

I feel like at some point I should get the BR set, MakeMKV it up and see what kind of a "non-fake audience noise" audio track I could get out of it.

But that might have to wait until the price for this set drops down to 15 € or something... would actually pay the full price if it weren't for the fuck-ups mentioned before*. Sheesh.

* = Still not as bad as the total lack of attention from JMJ/Aero Prod regarding the Simon Jensen issue, tbf

Oh, I thought that the track was included on the disc. Bit disappointing, but I guess there's little choice outside of this (much like with Amazonia).
