I wouldn't be surprised if the vinyl will be delayed because of a waiting line for pressing vinyls because there's a 30 years 6 vinyl anniversary edition of Nirvana's Nervermind or something like that.

The question is why the digital release is delayed, and if this is an indication of a delay in the whole project.

I don't have access to the 2017 remaster of the Les Granges Brulees CD, but at the same time the digital download release was available at Qobuz. I just bought the first track for comparision.

Furthermore, I noticed a dropout at the 1:58 mark of track 13, but this is also present in the 2003 CD:

On the vinyl, it sounds a bit dodgy too, but it doesn't look or sound like a dropout:

Overall, this release is an improvement on the original CD release. Due to the dropout in track 13, "Les Granges Brûlées", I think the original LP might be better but terribly hard to find. This might be the best affordable option. That is my first impression.
The 50th anniversary edition of Les Granges Brulees is also available at the usual online and streaming stores (qobuz, amazon, apple...). JeromeTV and I were looking into these and they are probably the same master, the DR for both Apple and Amazon are almost the same, except for track 13 on Apple which has a DR of 11, on both Bandcamp and Amazon this track has a DR of 10. Also interesting: the streaming versions have the same tracklist as the original release, whereas the Bandcamp re-release have a different track order.

I would assume the Bandcamp track list reordering is due to them accommodating the bonus track Happiness Is A Sad Song to fit on the vinyl, and they decided to mirror the same order for the digital release.

It's quite rare and finally worth noting, to see a reverse remastering work... granting the sound its fair measure and not excess. Day and night with the 2003 version. Audible and no longer hurting my ears, this 2023 version replaces the previous ones without worry.
I don't particularly like this kind of sounds but the more melodic pieces have always catched my attention.
Anyway, the movie is also harsh so I understand this choice.
