Ciao Nico!

I didn't know you were so young!
The year you were born I got my first keyboard, the glorious Roland W-30... And by the way I just had the age you have now.

I enjoyed your step by step procedure to "wash" a Roland PG-1000!
I am considering to do a similar treatment to a Boss DR-660 I purchased second hand some time ago.
It plays random double notes when I hit the pads, so it time to try...

P.

Thx Pete ;)
How old did you think I was ? lol
You're welcome for the Step By Step ;)
Isn't the W30 a sampler ?
Will you make a Step By Step as I done for the PG with your DR-660 ?

Yes, the W-30 was the first "workstation" from Roland, with sampling (512 k... 30 KHz @ 12 bit in / 16 bit out) a little synthesis (digital low-pass filter and few modulation possibilities) a 16 track sequencer, 8 individual outs but no effect. It was also one of the first keyboards with a bigger LCD compared to the S-50/D-50/Korg M1/ AKAI s-950 etc.etc.
Back then it was a dream for me, and actually I played a lot with it and sampled also a lot. Its most famous user is Liam Howlett of the Prodigy, who is said to own 5, mainly for stage use.

As to the step by step "washing" of the DR-660... if I get brave enough I will do it and take pics of it. I hope to have success, though. Otherwise it can become a "how to destroy a DR-660" :?
