I've never heard RV2..................... live before - where I've been in the crowd.. and yeah, for the duration of that one, I'm surrendering my soul to the whole track.... :D
and it had better be played or I'll strop and stomp my feet and get all proper upset

I hope he's accompanied on stage with Full Choir and Laser harp peritherals and loads of made visuals
Unless he's made some unique arrangements of the track for the gear he's using its not the same without the large ensemble and backdrop to set it off in its full glory.

Not too Fussed about RV2,so long as Oxygene 7 makes an appearance...with Laser harp

Just a note: Some people are using the light coloured theme for the forum, so using black letters is not the best way to hide spoilers

You're right. Maybe administrators could install spoliers mod on the forum...

I think we should have a separate thread for Spoilers. Then if you don't want to know what's coming you just stay away from it.

With so many concerts coming up, I say we have one spoiler thread. Any opinions?

How about one for Francis Rimbert's updates and another for actual concerts?

(and of course glued to the top of the concerts(?) section)

FR wrote it will be a synth-only version, so no choirs. Personally I like the idea of leaving the choirs and orchestras in the closet this time... :P

it wouldn't matter how it was performed... I know right now that the hairs on the back of my neck will be stood right up on end...! (which is excuse enough for me to not tie my hair up on the night...) Jarre can mess my emotions up on the night all he jolly well likes!!

Bring it on, I say :D

and... it doesn't matter the track listing or the gear list... as long as I don't hear/see anything from some of the other concerts before Manchester, I'll be fine... :D
Then, afterwards, I can sit back and overdose on sumptuous lush synth sounds and crave for more... :D

Dear Jean Michel, you brought me to the feast, now feed me!

Then ofcourse they can play the choirs with a decent synth/sampler or even use his old Mellotron for that part ;)

Indeed a choir would not be practical.. at least 50 people who would travel with Jarre on the road? too expensive.
Use a different choir in every country? Possible, but it would require lots of preperation and practise, and on tour there's too limited time for a dress rehersal.

But the Laserharp, this is a MUST at a JMJ Greatest hits tour!
Lots of tracks could be played; RV 2, RV 3, Calypso 2, Chrono 3, Oxy 7 etc.
So JMJ bring it along!

jp, please understand that 'OK, do it fast' cannot be and i'm sure won't be performed since that is not his greatest hit!

Sorry, but no one can turn my head on this thing

and most of us can't read JMJ's mind, what he is planning, and what songs are greatest hits for him
