Comparing the two, album version is more melodic than tour, that is too...i said.
If i ask some people i'm sure they would choose album version (or Marigny version) as better. :)

Not saying i won't like Oxygene 5 when i will hear it in live, just JMJ could play ir more carefully. :wink:

I don't think it can be played more careful. I think it's quite good done. The solo part should go more after the book, or Perrier should do that solo, but perhaps thats also the part you are talking about :)

Not to sound like an ass either, but I'd think this new leg of the tour would be much more worthwhile if it actually had Oxygene 7 or 10 (11? Whole Oxygene 7-13 album?) in addition to the other tracks. Of course, if it's the first chance for many Eastern Europeans to see him live in ages, well, I guess I can still nitpick about it :punch:

Right! that doesn't matter as it was Robi I replied to :wink:

Anyway JMJ mentioned tracks like Oxygne 7 and 10 to be too digital and difficult to play live, wo he wouldn't use those, still he might have changed his mind since then. We'll see what happens. It would surprise me if the tracklist hasn't been into a development since first part of the tour.
Im already beginning to (GEEK ALERT!) be excited about whether he has changed parts of the instrument setup, since he got some more retro stuff that appeals to performances.

Do you know the meaning of massacre? It's a cruel thing to say. :(

I did not notice having witnessed it live that it was “rockish.” Although, the difference would have been if on the stage any electric guitars and drums were being played. :P :wink:

I think it's also the way it was produced and pulled together, however what they have been able to do onstage regarding sequencing proves that they at least would be able to get a decent result. I don't know how they would manage that sequenced mellotron part or the choir for instance.

Yes, i do know what massacre means. Those high sounds and tunes can be massacre for ears. :P

As in Hungary we say : "one word as hundred"(word) - it could be played more softly...Like he expressed his opposite attitude to music than Kraftwerk does : more melody.

JMJ can play it softly but this version is very powerful. :cool2: :love:

It fits very well as part of the concert to have some upbeat tempos. :clap3: Makes the crowd go wild and :sad2: massacre. :p:

That's an impressive number. 8) But will all those seats be available? As most of the concerts were small audiences compared to that figure.
