So as its the greatest hits tour,does that mean there's a good chance Equinoxe 5 will make a comeback Based on the greatest hits ideology of "Images" or " The Essential"or MUZUR tracklistings?


That Track will go down a Storm for sure(providing he sticks to the original format or at least improves on it)....


I do hope were going to get the Greatest Hits Analog style(+A few Digital synths) and not simply a load of chuffed up nonsense Aero versions or the playback Remixes of LMS and Oxygene 8

Your not aloan. I really do want to hear E5. Its been nearly 20 years since I heard that.

What I would like to hear is E5 on the lines of O4 from the Akropolis concert. O4 had a long intro while Jarre walked towards his set-up. I would like to hear E5 as the start track with a long intro before Jarre starts to play the main lead.


I can see it now. Lights dim, it goes quite. The stage is in darkness. Then you hear the audioble sound of rain and the distant rolling of thunder. The rain gets louder, then, a huge thunderclap as lights across the stage burst into colour as a spot light pounces on JMJ standing to the side of the stage. He walks around a little while doing his kissing hands towards the crowd as the E5 bassline plays out. Walks over to his keyboards and starts the lead. . . . . But then again I do have a wild imagination.

It will be interesting to see if this tour will be live as the last tour or miming as in the "good old" days.

Well it sounds like they are working on making it live. This is going to be interesting. There is always the gear pr0n

One thing confuses me: Does the use of digisequencer make the live situation "fake"

A similar topic was discussed on a Danish forum a few days ago. Perhaps it would feel fake if they used the Digisequencer to play the Oxygene 4 lead, otherwise it's just as live as everything else. Sequencers and backingtracks are two very different things.

He could also have hired an extra keyboardist to play the sequences. Then again, these parts are also hard to perform at the right tempo and a quite repetitive. Think they need something to rely on regarding the tempo and that's where the digisequencer comes in handy.
