I was being polite.

This is JMJ we speak about.
He will do the world that is why it's called
World Arena Tour.

If it was just Europe then it would be called
Europe Arena Tour.

Perhaps you should take a look at what the 1997 Oxygene *cough* Tour programme reads on its cover.

Would be cool though if he played North Korea - he would be the first western artist to play there. He could then release CONCERTS IN NORTHKOREA w/ tracks like NIGHT IN PYONGYANG and NUKE EXPRESS

Yep, but I am giving the benefit of the doubt.

One more thought to this.
Jarre has committed a bad step being less respected by touring Oxygene Tour in arenas. It just a good thing he didn't tour Oxygene worldwide.
Cause what can public see? China, Houston, Paris...Oxygene Tour 1997
Compared to this, he brought a bited Oxygene skull with bad sound system and a minimal spectacle. Rightfully, wider audience would ask themselves: "why should i pay again for his concert, when lately he delivered a minimal performance"?

Minimal when compared to what exactly?

The spectacle (light, etc.) all together.

I dont think Jarre had any plans to do a huge laser light show. Those concerts were mainly for concentrating on the live performance than anything else. This up and coming tour is differant, so he says.

I can't believe I read that either. In fact I'd say quite the opposite. The last series of concerts was a musical and artistic tour-de-force for JMJ. Not since CiC has he shown such musical prowess. The mis-en-scene was more restrained than his outdoor extravaganzas, but wonderful nonetheless and entirely appropiate.
Anyone I spoke to - Jarre fans or not - were impressed with what was performed.
An expanded repetoire with a more extravagant stage setup is the logical extension of this, given JMJ's musical sensibities of late.
The promotion (or lack thereof) sadly doesn't match this - woeful.

Are you serious? Or is this a bad trolling attempt? Are you pulling a Kubrick? All of the aforementioned?
It's like saying in 1984: "oh, the last time Jarre used analogue synths, I probably won't buy Zoolook".
Or:
"oh, the last JMJ album sold one copy, I probably won't buy Zoolook."
