What I find remarkable about Jarre's current blog post is his polite nature, something which until now, I have not seen before in this depth. His comments on his mother, Germany and the war. We were at war with Germany, his mother was captured on three seperate occasions, the concentration camps and the invasion upon his own country . . . . yet his approach to all of this is sympathic towards all, polite, very gentleman like, but at the same time, teaching us history that we should not forget with a sense of "lets not forget, but lets move on". Very noble.

He certainly has my respect for that.

So that's the reason why they haven't played any complete new tracks yet? He has postponed it until everything (sound vs visual fx / man vs machines) just fits and works perfectly in harmony. Again that tiny perfectionist within Jean-Michel peeps out. Always fascinating to read his reasoning, what kind of goals he has got for this tour and what he's searching for and is trying to reach.
A new 3-D recording seems fantastic, although with the latest 3D DVD fresh in mind I personally couldn't care less about todays 3-D technology.
I'm quite confident it's going to be an improved media for the next 3-5 years to come, but right now it's simply "not there" yet.
So "just" a Blu-Ray drop should do the trick just :fine: for me. :pwned:
Still at least Jean-Michel has ideas like ever before. I respect that and it feels like a good sign for the near future. 8)

Still, a bit unfair that the new track(s) maybe played after they have been perfected in concert. What about the fans who did not get to hear it at the concerts that have already happened? It's a big tease when will they be played, if not at all His way of making sure we follow all the concerts in case more new tracks are played. Is it this evening or the next concert, or the concert after that etc? , I am not asking, just thinkin out loud. :smoke:

They should be glad that they were spared from the pain of a totally unfinished version I guess? :smoke:

I think we've had the maximum complaints about this tour we could ever imagine.
There's nothing left to argue...
I feel somehow relaxed after all that... :D
I'll have a sake. Cheers!
