You´re not making any sense Antigoon, you say he is a bad actor because you are as well, and so you know! But you also say that you have never heard of him!??

And I never said that you were a shitty person! Read my post again.. What I said was, I don´t go around calling people shitty/crappy persons/actors when I don´t have any clue of who they are... That´s just a common human respect from my side. I don´t even call people I don´t like that..

I think it´s sad that it came to this about Owen, or for that matter, anyone who attempts suicide!! Those are persons who are NOT feeling good!!

Have at least a little respect!!

That´s all I´m saying..

Well I just remember that I like Behind Enemy Lines a lot (eventhough it is american biased like the rest of all war movies that we have here) and I personally wouldn't call it a B-movie. Something in the production tells me that. Btw sir Wilson is not 'only' an actor but also a writer and producer.

It was the contrasts in these news that catched me only because many times he's playing a fun character that makes all kinds of troubles become smaller by joking about them on the screen. I don't have a clue about his personal life though.

No, I don't think so...
And he was very very well known in France, one of our best actors, and he died in the beginning of August, that was a sad news, really sad, but none out of France knew him...
I'm sorry to hear that. He must have became 89 years old then?
I'm sure he was a good actor.

GUYS STOP ARGUING! It's not the point and it's OFFTOPIC! :P

I'm suprised Owen Wilson isn't so popular worldwide... but I guess it takes a certain sense of humour to enjoy some of the films he's been in...

Some updates on this farcical story.
CNN is on to this:
http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/showbi ... .day.2.cnn
http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Movies/ ... index.html

Some rumors at MSN celibrity news section has been going on with a depression caused by Owen watching the headline photos in the press of his ex-wife, Kate Hudson, with an other guy.
Now they're claiming that he was addicted to drug abuse and that he had been stone high for three whole days just before the suicide attempt with "crystal meth" (a form of amphetamine) and a pain killer named Oxycodone. The later is also called "hillbilly heroin" in USA because it's cheap and terribly addictive, normally only given out by doctors to persons facing their deaths. He's still in care at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center i Los Angeles and is said to have a long rehabilitation in front of him.
Well rumors...believe them or not. :?
