Perhaps you are right GeeJee. I would love to hear him do an orchestral soundtrack.

Maybe then we could have twice the output--Soundtracks and Solo Albums... :hypocrit:

You said it...but have you seen Angel A?

Flawed but beautiful and shot in gorgeous black & white...
I missed it at the cinemas :-( I really wanted to see it, it's been years since he made a film (after The Messenger and now Arthur & the Minimoys).

And his other B&W movie, Le Dernier Combat, is still brilliant.
Le Dernier Combat is one of my all-time favorites. Up there with Nikita and even The Big Blue (even if that one is a bit dated).

I can almost hear Nikita (Anne) in my head now and when she screams "My name is Nikita." Then, stabs the pencil in the police officer's hand and the pencil snaps in half. :scare: 8)

I love that scene!!! It's right after that police officer just slaps her hard across the face then he puts the pencil down. And then as you said--stabs him and NIKITA!!!!!!!!

Simply brilliant. Anne was born to play that role. Not much else it seems but that role for sure...

That's strange, many many films in which she was acting are being broadcasted on tv in France, what's happening ? :o

Oh, that would be good to see... We got one other film with her and she played a Vampire and it was really bad. But maybe in France there is a chance to see her more. I always thought she was a good actress, I meant she seems to always be seen as Nikita and nothing else. (This is what I was saying GeeJee...)

I think she is a cop in some other movie. Actually she could have been good in Joan of Arc if Luc BEsson wasn't married to Milla Jovavich at the time. I think Milla is a horrible actress. Perfect for the Resident Evil movies--I rest my case. Actually the 5th Element was her best movie becuase she was supposed to act stupid and naive. :punch:
