That's what I thought when I first heard it--almost too similar to be a coincidence. Of course Philip Glass came first!

Yeah, and unlike Jarre, I can take Glass's work only in small doses.

I do like his Koyaanisqatsi and Powaqqatsi scores somewhat, and his Solo Piano album...again, a little goes a long way.

Back on topic:
Cousteau and Zoolook are both albums I didn't care alot for when new, but have rather grown on me over the years.

WFC is brilliant its permanently in my bedside CD Player and I listen to it everynight..have done for about 5 years solid.

not quite true (sorry to be a nerd): the Colombian LP version also has "Cousteau On The Beach" as last track title, as well as the Australian CD version (So I am told in this case)

I've used WfC when I worked as a supply teacher. I have had a second grade class (8-9 years old pupils) in a physical education class. I used it as background music when they should have a few minutes where the pupils just lay on the floor and relaxed. It was very popular!
