But Mury was an "only one" occasion! :) I'm not sceptic about it, at all! Be optimistic!! Jean Michel is in very good form!

I've never been really sceptic about JMJ. Even if I don't like a new album at first sight, i'll make it grow on me later :D

Yeah...that's a big problem with everything Jarre creates...it has to grow ten years to be at its best!

The same with me...of course there are albums which I loved from the first sund like "Equinoxe" or "Zoolook" and so on but I needed time to "get into" "Sessions 2000" or "Printemps De Bourges"...I still like some albums more than other but think every was worth to release.

And "Tribute To Mury"...I don't think Jarre's version was splendid or something like that, but it was nice greeting for Kaczmarski whose music really means much to Polish people, especially to generation of "Solidarnosc", and is kind of a sign of these years. Kaczmarski was really great artist, maybe even more a poet than a singer. I have a version of "Mury" sung by himself (just his voice and guitar), it comes from some small concert for students if I am right, and even if it may sound "poorer" than that performed by Jarre I liked it more...maybe because of the fact it's original song :) And Jarre's "Mury"- it's just...a tribute like the title says :)
But it's really great that he decided to remind it to people.

Ooops...sorry for off-topic

As I said on the old forum, Jarre will probably compose the new material having in mind Samard's habilities on orchestrating and addying impressive chorus performances to the songs. It will be, I think, the first time Jarre composes in such a context.

I look forward with a positive expectation, hoping he and Rimbert spend some time working on the sounds. We wouldn't like to hear again, as in the last original tracks, all that preset sounds, would we?

Best regards

Oh, that would be nice :D Perhaps she can sing on one of the new songs?
Yeah. I can think of a TON of mash-ups he should be doing and isn't, especially in light of hearing PdB. His new styles lend themselves to LOTS of potential vocalists. I can hear something along the lines of S2K with Angela McCluskey [Telepopmusik vocalist] singing jazz to it, I think his stuff would go well working with Autechre and Aphex Twin... And Bjork, of course. And VNV Nation... Air...

Ah, dreams... They'd sound good together, all of them, but... ::sigh::

The only thing I'm pretty sure of is that the new record will be something DIFFERENT. Jarre has never made two similar albums at all, let alone going after each other (except for Oxygene and Equinoxe, perhaps) 8)
