Kundera is en exceptional Czech (or now rather French) author who describes the 1960s-ish era brilliantly. I love the atmosphere of his works, it brings me to the times in my country long before I was born.

Actually, I act in a theatre play based on several Kundera's short stories. I play Achilles Apostollos, if you know him.

However, my favourite authors are Tom Clancy, Frederick Forsyth, J.R.R. Tolkien...and others. All for various different reasons.

The author I have read the most of is Sandra Brown.

The next best book I have read was about a Swedish serial killer, his story, his big tryouts to kill people and all that was leading him to be who he became. That book is called Lasermannen (The Laser Man).

"Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep?" by Philip K. Dick.

It's just a fabulous sci-fi book, and I've always loved the idea of artificial human beings.

Reading a book is far more creative...as you have to create a mental image of the characters etc.....

Sure you can watch a movie of a book in under 2 hours,but it cuts out a lot of infinate details and it gives you the idea of someone instead of creating them yourself

I liked to read books and get an image of what the characters look like then see how the comparision works with the actors in the film!!!



My favourite Book is "The Da Vinci Code" By Dan Brown,I also like his "Angels and Demons",two of the most inspiring books i have ever read....
I couldnt put these books down,i think i read both of them in just under 2 weeks...


My Fav Author has to be Stephen King....Best books ever "Pet Sematry" and "The Boogeyman"

Kamasutra, because it looks superb in my bed side table, along with a copy of da Vinci's Sforza...

I'm writing part II as I try it out in that same bed... for the original is now dull.

Well I just finished the K-PAX trilogy by Gene Brewer - a fantastic set of books that probes into the mind of somebody who suffered something so traumatic as a child he developes an alter-ego asscertaining that he is in fact an Alien called prot from the planet K-PAX. The books are far better than the the movie, though that was good too. You really need to read the books to see how good they are, is prot really an Alien in a host body who has come to help the host? or is it all just an alter-ego of the host mind? Some of the feats that prot are able to do defy definition, and how, when the host is finally brought forward, is it that his DNA is different to that of prot? when they are supposedly one and the same person.

I hope my synopsis makes you give this book a go, believe me, you wont be disapointed.

I have just finnished the autobiblography by Ingrid Bergman and it was very inspiring. Such a lady, I want to be almost like her!

Some of my new favourite books are the Mma Ramotswe series written by Alexander McCall Smith and The books in the Firekeeper saga written by Jane Lindskold. Truly remakable books indeed!
