Japanese vinyl is of very high quality. It's made of heavy weight (180gram), virgin vinyl. So no recycled crap. Records from Japan come in a anti-static rice paper sleeves and sometimes contain additional cover art. When your stylus and it's pressure are okay and your cartridge is aligned perfectly, almost no static clicks can be heard on these records.

Japanese record industry made their own masters and they sometimes made their own mix of original master tapes.

Some USA vinyl, especially from the 70s, is of great heavy quality too.
