As they have spoken to JMJ himself and also Francis Rimbert I guess this info has to be taken seriously. There already seems to be a fixed date for a concert in Paris.
Thanks for this John! Great news, if accurate.
Agreed! Bring on the "World" part of the tour. East Coast/West Coast... I'll be there!

So perhaps JMJ means that there will be 12 more concerts in Europe in 2010 and some of these 12 will be in Germany I assume they were communicating in English with JMJ. No offence but perhaps there was some misunderstanding because of the language barrier.
Well, to all in doubt that we Germans can understand English quite well , you can check the following clip on youtube startiing @8.39:
It is a bit difficult to understand, but if you listen closely he says "lots of different cities in Germany, ten or twelve cities in Germany".
Yes, I think, too, that's a lot as I remember the CCH in Hamburg not being sold out in April last year. And we had seven dates back in 1997, when he toured Oxygene.
But it is also and always a question of promotion. Oxygene Live was scarcely promoted just like Koblenz. Which I think was deliberate in the case of the In-Doors tour, as I am pretty sure that once they realized they are going to do something bigger in 2010, they simlply tourned In-Doors 2009 into a warm-up tour and saved the big promo budget für 2010.
I could imagine, too, that he proposes twelve, but we may end up with 6. But even that would be okay.
Next album: Oxygene 14-20.
Okay. I'm allowed to dream, aren't I
(This has been my signature for years. Looks rather silly now doesn't it?)

That shouldn't be a problem. "They" say this H1N1 virus is weaker than the standard flu. We shouldn't discuss it here, but it's just not that much of a threat. I think it would be an overreaction to let it control such events.
I actually chatted briefly w/Claude Samard on Facebook yesterday--neat guy! He was still rather vague about a USA leg of the tour, other than it was "in the pipelines" (!). He didn't want to jinx it by saying too much, and said that such plans had been made before, and of course...
OFFTOPIC:
BTW, he's actually been to North Carolina! Not my part of the state though...I told him if he ever made it back over this way I'd show him around Charlotte!

According to him, his ex is from Louisiana, and he was once very much into country music!
