Equinoxe 7 was also played there. I think it's the only missed song on the VHS.

Ok... in the end some pictures are shown during the credits, and two of the pictures included JMJ play on two different instruments which I didn't see from the official VHS.
On wich instruments?

Greetzzz...

On one picture he was playing the Fairlight CMI and the next one did he play the Dynacord Rhythm Stick you also saw him play in the short 'making of' from the beginning of the VHS.

Well, he doesn't play it on the vid, so either during the rehearsals only or during Equinoxe 7...

It would be great to be at some realy big gig like La Défance, CPLT, Moscow but anyway I regret so much that I didn´t know JMJ in 1997, so I missed him touring EiC in Prague. This really make wrinkle on my forehead.

China, 1981. When I saw the video I was very very curious of the culture of Far East. BTW, this is the reason why I like 'Shogun' (movie)
An then - China again, in 2004, to see what changed

I cant beleive no-one has mentioned Place de la Concorde......

That is the one concert i would have liked to have attended,it must have been awesome even back in 79......Quite futuristic for its time.

Still nothing compares to the Biggies i have gone to (DD/PLD/CPLT)

I would like to relive...Oxygene tour....quite a surreal concert setting actually,i had reservations about Jarre pulling it off, given that i felt it was a strange affair for him to play at a smaller venue/No huge backdrops, but it actually worked and showed that his music suits any environment..

The one thing I like about Jarre is that he thinks of every damn detail, most things that other artists don't....Like for instance at Docklands.....

instead of your conventional Stereo PA setup with standard left and right set up of the stage,Jarre made sure that no matter where along the grandstands or standing area you were, you got a stereo representation of the music, the PA that was mounted on the cranes along the docks were paired as they went across the dock,so no matter where you stood in perspective to the Stage, you heard it in stereo, which at most gigs isn't setup like that so unless you stand in situ with the stage you dont get the full benefit....
The guy is a perfectionist!!!
