Correct me if I'm wrong, but these seem to be the differences between vhs and the real concert:

-Oxygene 4 was cut.
-Fake ending on Equinoxe 4 (ending replaced with footage from EQ 5).
-Added voices during Diva (There's none on radio broadcast)
-Fake applause on some tracks?
-Calypso 2 - both Intro and laserharp parts were cut.
-Calypso 3 -not sure but it could be cut as well.
-And of course the missing tracks: EQ5, RV4, Calypso encore.
-Finally - bad editing (e.g. focusing on the crowd during fireworks  )

Yep and MF2 was chopped down. ANd in Calypso 2 a piece is actually CGI'd, I'll try and find it. Why these edits were allowed to be released is a joke. In the Laserharp bit of RV2 theres a bit that makes it obvious its playback!!

That's bad audio editing. The radio broadcast doesn't have that audio speed drop which you can hear in the video.

I doubt they actually used CGI for that, you shouldn't forget that CGI at the time was brandnew and rarely used. Hell James Cameron's Terminator 2 was released the year after and that stuff was groundbreaking! If it's edited it's not CGI I can safely assure you that

I have to disagree on PLD, while not perfect it's definitely one of the best Jarre concert recordings out there. Aside from the omitted tracks and the aforementioned odd edits (the Calypso 2 part always bothered me, but not as much as the Calypso 2 footage appearing during Equinoxe 4), the only really major fault I can find from it is the overfocus on the pyramid stage during Revolution, Revolutions.

Then again, you really have to screw things up to even get close to the DD travesty. PSB's Nightlife DVD is pretty much on the same level.

Ok not CGI in the sense that we see it nowadays, but the original filmed image has been modified (possibly computer based). I wasn't suggesting a T1000 was walking through PLD set.
