Cosmic Machine - "A poetic vision of the future”
Posted on 21/01/2014 by Patrice Bardot

French electronic music is not born with the French touch. The proof that the compilation Cosmic Machine exhume the 70s and associated evening 24 January 2014 at the Gaîté Lyrique. Summit meeting between two of these electro pioneers - artists Jean-Michel Jarre and Bernard Fèvre, aka Black Devil Disco Club - and the initiator of the compile, Uncle O.

Marc Cerrone interview speak about Jarre :

original:

Tranlate by google:

Jean- Michel Jarre, Didier Marouani (Space ) or Vangarde Daniel (father of Thomas Bangalter , Daft Punk) among others present on Cosmic Machine , did you feel part of a scene , and avant- thinking ?

At that time, everything was focused on Jarre, there was no room for others, such as Marouani . It has sometimes been compared me to Jarre that those who have never listened to our records, this is an ocean between us . Me in electro and disco -funk in him , for the beginnings of techno. I have not visited this time, I was in the U.S. , and when I came back , I was considered marginal . But I was free, I did not fall in a system that was highly suggestible . Majors would have wanted the tubes, but I did not want to take three years. If I had a score , it was first to exploit them on stage ... If I 'm still here today with my own sound , thanks to the total freedom that I gained time.
